Bohemian Fashionista

Fashion, passion, a love for life,
a flair for peace & love & light,
a creative brain, an artistic eye,
with bohemian, hippie, & free-spirit sides

Free-Spirit

I am what some might call
a bit of a... free-spirit.
I am not to be confined,
not to be constrained!
I am a troubled soul.
But one who encounters the world
with a view so pure and full of love,
that, it must make up for the faults!

I try to be as sensible as I can
but the world just doesn't make sense.
(It's too concerned with hate and pretense.)
But as I am alive; I am in peace;
and in the spirit of life I want to live!!
before I die.
So because of this... I am often ostracized?

I may be a free-spirit, and I may be a freak,
but I am who I am;
I am love; I am me.
A free-spirit?
Yes.
A free-spirit is what I am proud to be.

A Poem About You

You're a bright ray of light in the darkness of night,
You turn dull boring days into dreams,
You melt away sadness with the lightest of touches,
at least that's the way that it seems.

I have yet to see you in a negative state,
though the world around us is bleak,
I wish I could make a place in your heart,
for me; a place I could keep.

And keep it I would; keep it safe, keep it warm,
I would keep it filled up with my love,
The love of a friend, the love of a soul,
who believes in peace and in love.

And together we can spread that love to the world,
and stop that desire to fight,
and if you know that this poem is all about you,
well then, you know... you're probably right.

Quiet House

When the house is quiet, and the candles are burning,
and the scents fill the air, all twirling and swirling,
and the Christmas lights shine from the tree in the corner,
and the cats are all cuddling with me, making me warmer,
and my coffee cup steams and smells of fresh brew,
and my laptop screen hums as I write this to you,
these are the times cherished most you see,
when the house is quiet, and all is at peace.
